The Aarti "Aarti Shri Ramayan Ji Ki" is a sublime and deeply poetic devotional hymn composed by Saint Goswami Tulsidas Ji in praise of the holy epic Shri Ramcharitmanas / Ramayana. It celebrates the scripture as the divine glory and beautiful praised acts of Mother Sita's beloved, Lord Shri Ram (Lalit Siya Pee Ki). In the Sanatana tradition, the Ramayana is not merely an epic poem but a living spiritual entity that encapsulates the complete essence of Sanatana Dharma, righteousness, and supreme devotion.
The verses highlight how celestial personalities including Brahma, Sage Narada, Sage Valmiki (the embodiment of wisdom), Sage Shukadeva, the Sanat Kumars, Sheshnag, Goddess Saraswati, and Lord Hanuman constantly sing and proclaim its flawless glory. It is revered as the ultimate nectar (Ras) extracted from the four Vedas, eighteen Puranas, and six Shastras.
