About Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Ji Ki Aarti (Jai Bhagavad Geete)

The Aarti "Jai Bhagavad Geete, Maa Jai Bhagavad Geete" is an extraordinarily lyrical and emotionally rich devotional hymn worshipping the Holy Gita as the Divine Mother (Maa) and the supreme personification of Brahma-Vidya. She is described as the holy entity residing in the lotus heart of Lord Hari (Hari-Hiya-Kamal-Vihaarini). The hymn extols the Gita for revealing the true inner essence of Karma (Karma Yoga) while completely destroying worldly lust, desire, and delusion (Kaamaasakti-Haraa).

The verses highlight Mother Gita as the ultimate illuminator of divine truth (Tattwa-Gyaan) and the granter of unshakeable devotion (Nishchal Bhakti). She purifies the seeker's heart of all spiritual blemishes and reveals the sacred secret of total surrender to God (Sharan-Rahasya). By tearing apart attachment and aversion (Raag-Dvesh), She banishes the fear of worldly existence (Bhav-Bhay) and bestows supreme eternal bliss (Paramaanand).

Furthermore, the Aarti describes Mother Gita as the vanquisher of demonic traits (Aasur-Bhaav) and the night of ignorance (Tam-Rajani), while adorning the devotee with divine virtues (Daivi-Sadgun). She teaches equanimity, sacrifice, and selfless living. Revering Her as the ruler of all scriptures and queen of the Vedas (Shrutiyon Ki Raani), the seeker prays for Her nectar-like mercy (Dayaa-Sudhaa) to gain eternal love for Lord Hari's lotus feet.
