The hymn "Shrit Kamala Kuch Mandal" is the magnificent first Ashtapadi of the immortal 12th-century Sanskrit poetic masterpiece "Gita Govindam," composed by the celebrated saint-poet Mahakavi Jayadeva. Set in the sublime classical Indian style, this stuti glorifies the supreme attributes, divine beauty, and cosmic exploits of Lord Hari (Vishnu/Krishna).
